Woodrow Wilson Bridge Foundations 
The award of the $123 million Bridge Foundation contract in May 17, 2001 for the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge was the first major contract of the $2.2 billion, eight-year project. This will replace the existing three- (3) lane bridge to ease the congestion of the I95/I495 main artery that crosses the Potomac River.
This fast track project with a completion date of July 2003 consists of the construction of seventeen (17) bridge piers, eleven (11) of which are in the Potomac River. The construction involves thirty-five (35) cofferdam cells; 48in., 66 in and 72 in. steel pipe piles ranging from 160 ft. to 210 ft. long. Client: Maryland Department of Transportation
