Beaumont Hospital West Addition

Brief Overview

The five-story addition on the west elevation of the hospital consists of a single-story, mechanical space constructed between the powerhouse and west addition.  Designed to accommodate three floors of future vertical expansion, the building contains surgical, patient and administrative spaces including:

      New endoscopy center
      New obstetrics and LDR/
        postpartum unit
      Expansion of surgical
        department
      Surgical and private short stay
        patient rooms
      Physical therapy/occupational
        therapy gym
      This project represented the largest building expansion program ever undertaken at this facility.
