Skanska is providing construction management services for the new five-story, 110,000-SF DeKalb County Juvenile Justice Center. The facility includes six courtrooms, 25 holding cells and various administrative areas.
The facility will house the Juvenile Division of the DeKalb County Public Defender and the DeKalb County Child Advocacy Center. DeKalb County is seeking a Silver LEED Certificaton on this project, and special modifications on the facility include a roof drainage design that aides in landscape irrigation.
