Brief Overview

Skanska USA Building Inc. provided all preconstruction and construction management services for this multi-phased project. Wyeth relocated numerous corporate functions from multiple sites and consolidate their operations to this recently acquired Corporate Headquarters campus.

The first phase of this project included renovating the existing 1.2 million square foot campus. Approximately 632,000 square feet of research and development laboratories (which also includes a two-floor, 60,000 square foot vivarium and BL-2 laboratories) and 600,000 square feet of administrative/office spaces were renovated - ranging from minor cosmetic upgrades to complete renovations back to the structure. The existing utility infrastructure was upgraded including
a new information technology cabling and devices.

The second phase of this project included the construction of approximately 720,000 square feet of new corporate office facilities and a 1,200-car parking facility. These new buildings house corporate/administrative offices, training facilities, dining and cafeteria, and health and fitness functions. Extensive sitework improvements and upgrades to the existing central utility plant were also part of the project.
