PM 18-30 is a medium-sized drilling rig combining heavy-duty performance with ease of transportation and high flexibility in handling. The new model features a 300 kNm torque drill motor for drilling bore diameters up to 1.8 meters. It offers efficiency, low center of gravity and fast set-up. The adjustable track width gives the piling rigs good stability in operation and makes them easily transportable.

With their compact transport dimensions, the piling rigs can be moved from one place to another in one piece without any special arrangements.  The new hydraulic pile driving rigs are friendlier to the environment and more practical than conventional diesel hammers and mechanical piling rigs, as they generate less noise and reduce vibration and harmful emissions. Other advantages include the possibility to use biodegradable oils in the hydraulic system. Junttan’s multi-purpose hydraulic piling rigs are suitable for many different applications including driven piles and different kinds of bored piles.

The most valuable asset of the PM 18-30 is that the rotary drill head can be easily swapped with a pile driver hammer.  This was the first drill machine that Junttan made specially for Underpinning.
